ROBERT A. GOODMAN"Law has been my burning passion for decades. I'm combative, competitive, and creative. There is nothing that will keep me from putting my clients' interests in their most favorable light." –Bob Goodman Experienced nationwide as a business litigator, Bob Goodman has represented many public and private companies as well as individuals and families in countless litigation settings. Bob began his career as a personal injury lawyer, transitioned into anti-trust and unfair competition law, and eventually corporate governance and management advocacy. Never satisfied with the restrictions of larger firms, Bob left a large firm where he headed their litigation department and set out to establish a boutique practice that puts clients, not bureaucracy, first. In January of 1986 Bob joined forces with Ron Weiss to create what became Goodman Weiss Miller LLP, a firm unlike any other. Small in number, but expansive in abilities; representing significant public and private corporate clients in litigation and trials, corporate and securities law, business management and governance, banking and finance, real estate, technology, and computer law. Twenty-two years later, Bob set out again this time to create Crisis Assessment. Upon opening his new conflict/dispute practice, he left behind to his former colleagues an unmatched business boutique (now Miller Goler Faeges LLP) and once again launched a contrarian venture: a strategic practice that refuses ongoing representation and referral fees, provides the advice of only senior counsel, and provides a flat fee service. Clients know Bob will provide them with objective advice and strategies uniquely tailored to their needs. Bob is an active member of the community. He has mentored law students at both Case Western Reserve University School of Law and Cleveland-Marshall College of Law. Clients and colleagues look to him for advice and consultation on issues ranging from litigation tactics to corporate strategy. Bob is married and has four children and eight grandchildren. He enjoys reading, exercising, traveling and spending time with his family. Admissions
