Legal Second Opinion

While your primary counsel, in-house counsel, outside counsel or family attorney may be able to handle the majority of your legal needs, occasionally it is necessary to seek a second opinion. Your attorney may be overwhelmed with work, unable to dedicate enough time to a particular legal crisis, too expensive, or not sufficiently experienced. Occasionally, your existing counsel may be a part of your problem, such as in a conflict of interest.

Working with an independent third party brings many benefits to a client. Just as in the case of serious surgery or medical treatments, you may need a new perspective to give you peace of mind and to make sure that all possible solutions have been considered. As we strategically analyze your situation, we may find that your lawyer is doing a good job, under the circumstances. However, we will voice possible suggestions or criticisms to you clearly so you can make an informed choice about your strategies.
